Why were there Turkish flags held by the Dutch fans during the game?
When I was watching the game between Uruguay and the Netherlands, I saw some Dutch fans holding Turkish flags. I also heard there were Palestinian flags. Does anyone know why? I just found it interesting.
you know how they bring images of the people who are living in Holland who were celebrating on the streets after the dutch won? that’s where I saw it.

There are a lot of Turks living in the Netherlands. They like to wave their own flag and still join in the fun. I didn’t see the Palestinian flag, but that’s surely a political statement.
