I’m fifteen and I would prefer to keep the room the way it is when I’m a junior/senior in high school. Do you think these colors are childish? These are my top two color choices. I love the yellow and how bright it is. It makes me so cheerful. Blue is soothing and one of my favorite colors. Whichever color you choose, please let me know what color palette I should use for the accessories and stuff for the rest of the room. My room is small and kinda crowded. There is only one window and I wouldn’t say it’s a very bright room. I was thinking I could also paint the walls white and make 1 or 2 of them a bold color if it was a blue. I’m so stuck on this… So please help me pick! Thanks so much! (:

I like the way the room looks in the video, i think you should pick whatever makes you feel best, and you can always paint it again after a few years if you wanted to, have fun : ]
(ps i put down an old sheet when im painting to protect the carpet, newspaper is too loud/flimsy, they also sell big painting cloths for the floor at places like home depot, those are usually made of plastic, and paint cant seep through plastic if a lot spills)

Ultimately, I think you should decide on whatever color speaks to you the most. In terms of color therapy it’s true that colors can evoke a particular mood or feeling when you enter a room. What yellow or blue feels like to me when I’m sitting in a room may feel like something significantly different to you. With that said it’s hard for me to give you my personal opinion. However, considering we’re speaking in terms of your bedroom here I would suggest picking the color that gives you a sense of calm and warmth, a feeling of relaxation, peace and serenity!
The two colors that you’ve narrowed it down to both fall into those feelings mentioned above, but you may possibly find it beneficial in the long run to look into some yellow and blue samples with either a darker or lighter undertone to create a more sophisticated look seeing as though you’d like to stick with this color for several years to come.
I find a pastel yellow to be both youthful and energizing, yet sophisticated and calming. Yellow brightens even the dullest and darkest of rooms and also makes a space appear larger, however, I’ve found this to be true only in dealing with lighter shades such as this for example:

In the end the choice is yours, go with your gut and try not to let others opinions get in the way of what will make you happy! Good luck.

yellow is always a great color. especially is your room isnt very bright, it will make your room look bigger. I would use black, white, and purple accesories with yellow.
i don’t think you could ever get tired of blue. it is a great color choice too. you can use other colors of blue to accesorize with (even lighter blues and darker blues ). green also works good with blue.
you can do 2 walls yellow and two walls blue.
or 3 blue one yellow if you can’t decide between the two!
good luck with choosing and have fun painting

Since your room is small I would suggest you leave the walls white and add blue and yellow accents to incorporate your favorite colors.
If you want to paint the walls then choose a light buttery yellow or a light sky blue or use both colors on alternate walls or just paint one accent wall with one of these colors.
Look at these small rooms that have both the colors you want in perfect harmony:
