What are the three flags that are flown at the border of USA and Canada?
When you cross into Canada from the United States, you always see 3 flags. There is the US flag on the US soil, and a Canadian flag in the Canada side. What is the third flag that is flown at the border?

I believe the third one is the union jack. Sorry if I am wrong when I crossed the border I could have sworn that is the other one I saw.

Its the US flag on the US side, the Canadian flag on the Canadian side and the blue UN flag in the middle representing the actual border line between our two great nations.

The third flag is usually the provincial flag of the province where the border crossing is located

Randy is correct, old lady is an idiot troll.
It’s the baby blue flag of the UN!

I’ve never seen the UN flag there, it’s always the flag of whichever province you’re entering.

Its been years since I crossed the border but I seem to remember the provincial flag being the third one.
Oldlady isn’t a troll, it just looked like she was just trying to answer the question as best she could.

That was probably a provincial flag, such as the Fleur des lies (for Quebec, it’s blue with a horizontal and vertical cross with fleur de lis’s on it) or Ontario’s provincial flag (It has the United Kingdom flag in the top left corner and a coat of arms with 3 flowers on it under england’s flag)
whichever province you enter, the 3rd flag you see represents THAT province.

The blue one in the center is the United Nations flag
