Where or how can I find a specific WWI propaganda poster (or copy) to purchase?

There is a poster that I love. From the days before the media and stupid people wrongfully maligned Pit Bull breeds and they were considered the "All American Dog". It is a poster from World War 1 of a white American Pit Bull Terrier with an American Flag wrapped around it’s neck. Under this is says:

"The Germans have their "Wincht am Rhein," the English play "Lord Save the King," the Frenchmen sing their "Marseillaise," while the Russians chant their "National Hymn."

Our spirit shuns this warlike ring: Peace breathes in what we proudly sing: "The Star-Spangled Banner."

And long may it wave, o’er the land of the free and home of the brave. By these colors we stand ever true.

Three Cheers for the Red, White and Blue."

I would love to get this for my home to frame, because it is so meaningful to me. If you have any idea how I can find it please let me know.

(And please if you don’t like Pit Bulls or dogs in general please don’t bother mentioning it or saying anything bad about Pit Bulls. It’s breedist, ridiculous, and I want no part of a fight with an ignorant stereotype that I know WAY more about than most. Thank you.)

Battle ships & muzik or Music.would not a musical smart wizkid be able to set them to music.?

playing ballad’s like unto the star spangled banner:knowing each gun’s calibur & barrel size is capible of imporant notes and chords. depending apon the pitch angle and size of the gun.some say the large calibur Rotary is not possible because of the recoil effect.yet if we could place sophisticated air bellow’s apon a big commercial truck or Rig to support 80.000 pounds: designiing a high tec high speed Rotary out of the availible gun’s and turret’s should not prove impossible for our modern wizkids just getting out of school.yet amusical genious would intermix the voices of the thousands in with the guns.with the small calibur or anti aircraft guns making the ratta tat tat tat of traditional soldiers drum’s drumming.yet the voices would mimik an army of pipe organ quality bag pipes and each word extended along with the musical notes and cords.like unto a giant Bee hive power house of our U:S:A and it’s many melting pot of peoples singing in a beach boy style four point harmony amplified and multiplied via shear numbers of persons and guns singing.the national anthem is only one of these.yet this is also why my self and those involoved wanted to raise the Arizona thus it could join it’s other fellow ship’s outfitted with these new high tec, gun’s & sophisticated modern computers.it may have been Mr biden down at the border rattleing his can of stones telling me how the marines once dumped him and his fellow soldiers and ran off and left them.the same Mr;Biden whom tested the armour apon our modern tank’s with a standard R:P:G & Rockett launcher.now is their commander and cheif this same black skinned man.since he knows whom i am. and you all now know.i was allready rich enough to pull this off and win some of our former allies back with nothing more than music technology and Battle ship’s.and he could order the local Fayetteville VA hostpital too locate my record’s proving whom i is unto these cornbread eating folk.the U:S fleet is in good shape yet the U:S:S fleet are old rusty and parked.out of service.and we have plenty of homeless folk whom could man each one,the music would only drive a love for our flag and freedom stake in their hearts.

Please listen and tell me if I'm a good singer…?

You may have to turn your volume up…here goes (please don’t laugh)

Oh, say, can you see, by the dawn’s early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight’s last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, thru the perilous fight,
O’er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets’ red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.
O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

On the shore dimly seen through the mists of the deep,
Where the foe’s haughty host in dread silence reposes,
What is that which the breeze, o’er the towering steep,
As it fitfully blows, half conceals, half discloses?
Now it catches the gleam of the morning’s first beam,
In full glory reflected, now shines on the stream:
Tis the star-spangled banner: O, long may it wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

And where is that band who so vauntingly swore
That the havoc of war and the battle’s confusion
A home and a country should leave us no more?
Their blood has washed out their foul footsteps’ pollution.
No refuge could save the hireling and slave
From the terror of flight or the gloom of the grave:
And the star-spangled banner in triumph doth wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave.

O, thus be it ever when freemen shall stand,
Between their loved home and the war’s desolation!
Blest with victory and peace, may the heav’n-rescued land
Praise the Power that hath made and preserved us a nation!
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto: "In God is our trust"
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave!

Star Spangled mess: Mavs’ Howard insults anthem. Your thoughts?

7 hours, 1 minute ago

Buzz Up PrintDALLAS (AP)—The battered reputation of Josh Howard took another hit this week when an online video surfaced showing the Dallas Mavericks forward disrespecting the national anthem.

In a video posted on YouTube, Howard is shown on a football field at a charity flag football game. As the national anthem plays in the background, Howard approaches a camera and says: “‘The Star Spangled Banner’ is going on right now. I don’t even celebrate that (expletive). I’m black.”

Howard’s agent, Jeff Schwartz, did not immediately return a phone call seeking comment. Donnie Nelson, the Mavericks’ president of basketball operations, directed questions to team owner Mark Cuban, who in an e-mail declined to comment.

The incident is the latest off-court problem for Howard, a fifth-year pro from Wake Forest who averaged 19.9 points and seven rebounds last season. He was arrested in July when police said he was drag racing at 94 mph in a 55 zone. A court appearance was scheduled for next week.

Howard was criticized last season for saying in a radio interview during a first-round playoff series against New Orleans that he occasionally smokes marijuana. Later that same series, he angered coach Avery Johnson by throwing himself a birthday bash after a Game 4 loss to the Hornets

My thoughts? Dumb, dumb, dumb.

American Flag in pop culture?…?

Google has been little help, or I am not searching for the right thing.

I am doing a research paper on the American Flag being a symbol for our culture. I have included stories of famous American Flag references, but I am looking for something in pop culture such as…

Famous song about American Flag(not the Star Spangled Banner, I have it…)
Famous picture or art
Famous clothing or something like that
Famous anything that has to do with the American Flag! That I can at least write five sentences on.

Please and thank you, I appreciate it.

Essay of our National Anthem at the Olympics?

So proud to stand atop the podium with a medal
of gold as the Star Spangled Banner plays in a
version written by some musicant. This musicant
who composed this version of our glorious anthem
obviously doesn’t understand the original composers
intent. In music there is a ‘Climax’. It should be the most heart wrenching moment of the song. In our anthem, the ‘climax’ runs thus;
"And the rockets red glare, the bombs bursting in air, gave proof through the night, that our flag was still there."
In the Olympic version the climax is "wusified" with violins and violas in unison at an adagio pace. What a disgrace. When you are singing of war (or witnessing it as the original composer did) i.e. rockets and bombs, the climax should have timpani, horns, strong bass, and possibly violins silently in the background played at a loud andante to prepare the soldier for battle.
I have to hit the mute when the violins come on.
The rest is fine. Get rid of those stupid slow violins at the climax!!!

Should the ACLU go after Miguel Rodriguez of Live Oak HS for denying students their 1st Amendment Rights?

His resent decision to deny American citizens who are students at Live Oak High School, the right to wear the National Ensign (American Flag) is offensive and reprehensible. Remember that this is The United States of America where our Flag should be revered not disrespected. With deference to the Mexican American student population who found the wearing of T-Shirt’s bearing the Stars & Stripes disrespectful, they should be reminded that they are (for better or worse) citizens of the United States of America and not citizens of Estados Unidos Mexicanos. Would it be disrespectful to wear Red, White, and Blue on St. Patrick’s Day or Columbus Day?

History Lesson: Cinco de Mayo is a Mexican holiday celebrating the Mexican army’s victory over the French in 1862 and has absolutely nothing to do with American high school students in the United States of America. It should also be noted that Cinco de Mayo is neither an official or recognized holiday.

Take Away: Learn from these courageous students: Daniel Galli, Austin Carvalho, Matt Dariano, Dominic Maciel and Clayton Howard what it means to be proud of your country. They stood up for their First Amendment Rights in the face of those, like Miguel Rodriguez would deny them what is guaranteed under the United States Constitution.

O, say does that star spangled banner yet wave O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave at Live Oak High School?

Did Barack Obama refuse to put his hand over his heart and say the Pledge of Allegiance?

I see these allegations going around. Are they true?

""This was not during the pledge of allegiance," Obama said of the picture taken at Senator Tom Harkin’s, D-Iowa, annual steak fry and first published by Time. "A woman was singing the Star Spangled Banner when that picture was taken."

""I was taught by my grandfather that you put your hand over your heart during the pledge, but during the Star Spangled Banner, you sing!" Obama said."
