I have received 2 e-mails within the last 2 days stating that I have won a yahoo news lottery. These e-mails look legit although my good sense tells me different. The e-mails themselves contain yahoo logos along with people to contact about the winnings. If this is a scam or hoax(which I am sure that it is) then the authorities at yahoo need to get to the bottom of this and bring forth lawsuits if needed to get this scam stopped. The biggest red flag warning to me that this is not legit is that the contact people are from the UK and although they do not ask for personal info like bank account numbers or SSN, they do ask for other things such as name, address, sex, DOB, age, occupation, telephone number, fax, marital status, the month you won and the winning number, batch number, and lotto number. Has anyone else out there in internet land received a similar e-mail from what appears to be yahoo. If so, I would like to know. Thanks.

I’m and independent women who has recently ended a not so good relationship that lasted 11 years.I am happy, spiritualy focused and don’t have to much hope that I will meet someone that I can trust and that doesn’t have some hidden agenda. Ok, so I meet this guy he seems really nice and surprisingly has my intrest. He shares with me the things in his past and says that he is now a man of God and doesn’t indulge in the same things that he used to. He revealed to me that he slept with one of his ex’s mother and once he went through a whole family.((yes)) Would this considered a red flag or should I just except that this is in his past, because we all have a past. I really do think my boyfriend has a drinking problem, and I don’t want to talk about it with friends at this time, so I was hoping i’d get some input from others on this site. Let me give you some background info, he’s in his early 20′s, we were friends for years throughout high school so we’ve always been close but just recently got back in touch with each other and started dating. He’s known for being a real party animal, and I told him up front that I couldn’t tolerate that kind of lifestyle, so he promised he’d straighten up for the chance to have a relationship with me. So, i’ve given him the opportunity. He stopped his wild partying with big crowds, but still wants to drink every weekend and tries to sneak and find ways to have some sort of social gathering where everyone can drink. Once he starts drinking, he doesn’t know when to stop, and aims to get plastered every time. And he’ll aim to do this on both Friday and Saturday unless i step in and cause a fight about it. The next day he gets on a bad hangover and gets really moody, and it’s really getting too irritating for me. Not only does he do this on the weekends, he finds a way to drink throughout the week too, even if its only a few beers. He displays his love for alcohol by having a freaking Bud Light logo on the background of every electronic appliance he owns. If we have a really good opportunity to be alone on the weekends together, he suggests having a few friends over to drink instead of just chilling out with me. Yes, I know this is all a huge red flag for the relationship itself, but i don’t want go just up and leave him, I’d rather know that I did the best I could to get him to slow down and find a way to help him. He denies having a problem, of course, and says its just what he likes to do and that he just likes to "have a good time"…. Any feedback would be appreciated, thanks.

Says to call 8774692576 to reactivate your card. I checked with credit card companies they didn’t send a text message to me. Just to check it out, I called and it’s a computerized voice asking for your credit card number, expiration date, and pin number…Big RED FLAG. Be very careful before giving out sensitive information. You should check with your credit card company directly.

I have always wanted a Yorkie Terrier. I saw an ad in the Charleston NC for two free yorkies. I emailed the lady (Nini Nouns) and we corresponded back and forth a few times. Everything sounded legit. Supposely she was traveling and was in Washington State at the time. She was going to ship the pups to me and all I had to pay was the shipping fees. I was so excited. She even sent me pictures of "Jake" and "Cindy" She said that she’d dropped the pups off at the airport and the pet carrier service that works for the airlines would contact me with shipping info and I could arrange payment with them.
The "supposed" shipping company contacted me and wanted me to send a Walmart MoneyGram to Cameroon. That popped up a red flag, so I didnt send any money–and I didnt get any pups either (although I doubt they existed)
I googled Yorkie Scams and I saw that I’m not the first one to find out this SCAM! This is insane! Why do people do this? I was so sad that my husband had to go buy me a Yorkie the next day!

In NASCAR they have the green white checker finish. I wish the races ended in with at least 5 green laps or at least 2 attempts at the Green white checked finish. I would rather they red flag the race at 5 to go than run cautions laps then have to do a green white checked finish. How do you wish the races finished when caution flag is thrown with less than 10 laps .

It had all these trust logo’s (‘Goldblah certified’ kind of thing) on the side, but when I went to the websites that certified mp4mobile, the logos could all be bought or the links were broken. There was some other red flag (not a serious one though) but i forgot it.
