Why are the answers for dinosaur questions so terrible?

Why are the answers for dinosaur questions so terrible? I see so many responses which are very ill-informed and the answers chosen as the best are usually the worst! There’s no way to go back and re-open these Q&A to add better information leaving closed Q&A sessions with terrible misinformation. What’s the appropriate way to handle these situations? Should they be flagged for abuse? I don’t think it’s good to encourage people to think extinct marine reptiles had gills or that there were no feathered dinosaurs when we consider there is no evidence for the former (examining modern aquatic vertebrates = no gills in any of these; no evidence of adaptations towards gill-breathing in fossil aquatic reptiles) and plenty of evidence for the latter (countless feathered specimens described in peer-reviewed publications clearly show the presence of feathers in many theropod dinosaurs). These are just two cases which I saw which especially jumped to mind, but there are plenty of other awful answers which I’ve seen. What’s the best way to handle this?

Thanks,
-N.

Have you ever wanted to be an ornithologist?

Bird’s Nest
by C.S. Scotkin

Another porch…
potted impatiens
from brass hooks
cascade pastel
hues of dawn.
Shh, hear them
in the middle,
that purple one.

Gray dove still,
belies her fear,
three down chicks
now motionless,
she does not leave.
Shh…meet her
mother eyes.
She will not leave.

This cradle chosen
so close to my door
wakens new
awareness, Shh!
Close quietly,
whisper respect.
She knows me now,
I am no threat.

Her babes grow
quickly, her care
flags not once.
She sits, eyes meet
once more, shh…
our trust complete.
I reach out
warm feathers
beating heart…
mother’s heart…
like mine.

Assassin’s Creed 2 – Unlockables/Rewards – What exactly can you unlock?

My question might seem a bit vague, but I’m not quite sure how to phrase it. I thought I did the best I could though.

Anyway, I’m trying to figure out what you can unlock in Assassin’s Creed 2.

I’ve been looking online, but there hasn’t been much information out there yet. There are tons of things to do in AC2, and I’m just trying to see what unlocks what. For example, what does collecting all the feathers unlock? What about completing all of the Assassination side-missions? What about collecting all the flags?

There are a ton of activities besides those that I want to look in to, but any help would be appreciated because as you know it’s pretty time consuming collecting things and completing all of the side-missions and races and I’d like to know if I get anything in exchange for all of my hard work.

Looking forward to the answers I get. Detail is appreciated, people.
For the record, I’m not talking about unlocking "achievements" or "trophies." I’m talking about items you can unlock in the actual game, and I thought anyone reading this question would understand that. Nap, I’m calling you out, take your bull**** answer off this page; it takes me six minutes just to get to the bottom.

What should people from the US call themselves?

At one time the term "Usonian" was proposed for US citizens to call themselves, since there isn’t an appropriate word for that purpose right now.

I think it’s time we came up with a term that doesn’t ruffle the feathers of people from the other countries in the American continent.

Just imagine if the French hijacked the term "European" for themselves and if they opposed any other European countries from describing themselves as European also!

I personally prefer to use "US-American"…

In Esperanto we use "Usonano" since United States is "Usono".

Yesterday I saw a van that had a sticker that said "God Bless America" and in the center it showed the entire American continent, instead of the usual US flag.

Hum, what a gentle reminder!
I like Taivo’s answer. He makes a good point and his answer is well-written and well- researched, however, in the name of international relations, I still think it’s worth giving this issue some consideration.
Many changes have taken place in the American continent in the last 500 years.
