I was talking to a work friend about a school reunion I might organise… it got me thinking about what they are all up to. I shared my thoughts with him, that they are probably all married with six kids. Anyway to cut a long story short I am 32 and still single and don’t have a problem with that… I know I am a good person and it’s just the luck of the drawer and I have just been unlucky in love etc.
But at the end he added the above comment and it has been messing with my head ever since. You have a wifey feel about you……What do you think he means. I look like a door mat? LOL

i have been a nice guy for my whole life and it seems nice guy is just another term for door mat. im sick of it i see a bunch of a holes gettin the girl and it pisses me off what do you think should i be the nice guy or the jerk i wanna know from your experiances

ok my best friend is with this guy who treats her bad, is a jerk, has his priorities fu cked up, oh and he has hit her before. They do have a baby together. I keep telling her to leave but she won’t. Aperently she liked being his door mat.. my question .. WHY ON EARTH DO WOMEN PUT UP WITH STUIP S H I T FROM GUYS?? WHY ARE THEY SOO AFRAID TO LEAVE THEM???
Just to let every one know, i am happly married with kids. So i do know what kind of bond you have with someone u’ve had kids with.

Okay, so there is this stray cat that I have seen for a little while now..last night, I came home and she was sitting by my door..aww..I gave her food and wished I could keep her but I can’t ..about 10 minutes later, my door bell rings..I hear my neighboor yelling "IS THIS YOUR CAT!" I scoop up my cat because she tries to get outside ..and I open the door..I explain to her I have 2 that stay inside..she said good I’m terrifed of cats..about 10 minutes go by and a man comes up the stairs and is shaking keys and making loud noises to get the cat to go away.My neighboor then shakes out her door mat and starts cleaning it with some kind of cleaner..I should mention that my cat got out one day while I was letting a friend out, and my neighboor was coming up the stairs and let out a death defying scream,scared my cat to the point of her turning around and running back in the house.I guess my question is, do you know anyone who is that afraid of cats? Could she have gotten attacked as a kid?
Also, should I bring the cat to the shelter so she will at least have a chance to get adopted?..she’s very sweet ..wanted to come inside with me.

It seems to me womens suffrage has been a complete dissaster. Women have become loudmouthed and aggressive. Women should be demure and quiet. My question to the masses is, would society be better off with women being a door mat?

My father got married 1 year ago to this woman I have not yet met. I have spoken to her a few times on the phone. Mostly due to his health situation. Her comments to me are very passive aggressive. Any advice on how to handle her when I have to. Not looking to have a confrontation and fight with my father over her. However I am not going to be a door mat either.

My boyfriend left town to go in the same state as his ex on my birthday..Then he goes and adds her to his Facebook account and he requested her knowing that she had harrassed me and my parents in the past..She humiliated me on Facebook…Does this mean I am just a door mat for him?
