Sims 2 keeps freezing after a few minutes with no particular part where it freezes more. I have all stuff and expansion packs. I’ve tried reinstalling and it didn’t work. It does not lag at all before it freezes. I’ve run the sims 2 before on the same computer perfectly. I am above all the system requirements.

My computer has no sound. I check on all mute boxes and none of them were checked, I checked my speakers, I disabled and enabled my two sound drivers, I have adjusted my volume to be heard, I have tried "Fix It" on the Microsoft website, and I have restarted my computer many times.

If I try to uninstall and reinstall my sound drivers, I am afraid that I won’t be able to install it seeing how my computer came with NVIDIA. I cannot seem to find the updates to the sound drivers.

I have tried everything from disabling them and enabling them to uninstalling it and installing it and a whole lot of other things but nothing seems to work! My sound card at first wouldn’t detect anything other than the ATI HD AUDIO REAR output so I tried fixing that (I have a headset) but it just turned out to where it doesn’t show anything now, but yes I have it installed

Okay. So whenever I download a game from ANYWHERE. They don’t work. I get an error about Direct 3D almost always and this is the most information i could get out since I am not that good with computers.
