There was a soccer game a few years back between mexico and the US in Los Angeles. Mexican fans (most of whom were living in america if not american citizens) booed the star spangled banner, threw bottles and beer at the american players and attacks somebody with an american flags. And there have been incidents outside of soccer games in latino children have tried to replace an american flag with a mexican flag.

Why is there so much hatred for america in LA’s latino community?

today.All Federal offices were to have flown the US Flag at half staff to honor the troops killed in an ambush on 10/03 in Afghanistan(while Obbie was campaigning in Copenhagen).My young cousin was killed in that raid and today was his funeral.Auto dealerships that took bailout money also did not lower their huge oversized American Flags to half staff either.Should we take back the money?How patriotic are these money grabbers?

I recently bought the Rammstein live album/DVD Volkerball. During the song Amerika (the one where Flake’s riding around on the Segway xD) A bunch of people in the audience have American Flags, but with the Rammstein logo made out of stars in the field.

They are running ads with American Flags, telling me that they have been in business for 90 years, and we need to support our American Companies. We are told everyday by our politicians, our government, our teachers, our professors, our hollywood elite, that America is always wrong, America is bad. We answer a terrorist attack, with a strong show of force, and half of our leaders tell us that we are wrong. Our soldiers are baby killers they say. We capture terrorists and lock them away so that they don’t kill anymore of our friends-families-fellow Americans, and hollywood tells us that we are barbarians and torture innocent foreign citizens. What are we to think. Why should we care if the filthy rich American car makers, loose their businesses? I don’t care about them anymore than they care about me. Period ! I don’t care if the UAW loose their jobs. Why should I care about them either?
If things were different. Like if Americans actually took care of their Veterans, if they took care of their elderly, if they treated each other with dignity and respect, then maybe I would care about them. But we all know that basically Americans don’t care about each other. We only care about who we can screw out of a dollar, and when can we have our next beer. Let the big three fall ! There will be others to fill their spots.
