Stupid end to Arca race?
Does anyone else feel that Arca should have just ended the race under caution if they were going to only give the guys one lap to go for the win?
I was expecting a green-white-checker,but they dropped the green flag and it was the final lap.It takes these cars 1 lap just to get up to speed.Stupid move by Arca-I wouldn’t have waited around during that long red flag if I had known that crap.Guess that’s why i’m a NASCAR fan and not an Arca fan.

That was dumb, at least a green-white-checkers. I hope Patrick Shultra is alright though.

I would rather have seen that one lap dash than have it end under caution.
EDIT: NASCAR Raceday just announced that Larry and Patrick were fine.

I agree with you somewhat, but after seeing that NASTY t-bone accident with 4 to go… I pray that Sheltra is OK.
Update: Sheltra is awake and alert at Halifax Medical Center, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

I see that I’m in the minority as usual, but I liked the way the race ended. IMHO there’s not much that’s worse than a race ending under caution.
Betcha dollars to doughnuts – if Logano had won, people would have been just fine with the end. Too bad, so sad. : )

Was a little silly but ARCA main objective is to finish the race under green but also in the scheduled distance. Good news after that wreck is both drivers have transferred to a local hospital and are awake and alert. That wreck really looked bad and had me scared for a few minutes.

I mean, it was a fun race until stupid drivers went and made it more dangerous than anything.
Gotta say tho, great job safety crews! They got both drivers out, and they are both ok =D

I’m with you. Lagono could of had chance at least. Plus i am a NASCAR fan as well.

No, ending under caution is stupid. But, the end was boring. Although I don’t like Lagano so, I was glad he didn’t win. I did think it was stupid that they didn’t interview the winner in favor of raceday. He was a race winner.

Totally agree MOJO. It was a joke end to an otherwise great stock car race. Hated to see the drivers hurt at the end….but it was a pretty good race up to the end. ARCA has a history of questionable calls…just like ol Nascar.
Just an opinion as always.

I agree with you on the ridiculous ending. You don’t really get anything done in 1 lap except maybe on the restart.
Man those 2 hit hard with 5 to go. The safety crews were good though and I can not believe that they had to cut them out. I hope Patrick is ok. I was just watching it because I missed racing.

You read my mind. That was the dumbest thing I think I ever saw. They should have just ended the race after the caution if they were going to do that. What the Eff is one lap at a restrictor track?
Wow I do not hate anything more than nascar. I feel that it is pointless and it should be gone with!!! Pick a real sport! FOOTBALL or BASEBALL or BASKETBALL or even HOCKEY for all that matter!!!
