Poodle recently started picking up poop from the yard, and putting it on the front door mat. She's 10.?
She moved a few months ago, but has moved many times before. It’s almost like she delivers it to her mom as a prize. Why would she start doing this so late? She started about a week ago, and has been doing it nonstop ever since. Her mom says it’s a curious and annoying habit. Any suggestions?

i have neer heard this but shes neat and that is better then eating it you should tell her good girl you sue can’t stop it i think unless you get the dog whiperer there. its neat

Maybe it’s a hint. If there is no poop laying in the yard, there is no poop for her to pick up and deposit by the door.

There are also supplements that you can purchase at petsmart that will encourage your dog not to put poop in its own mouth…usually for eating, but maybe for delivering prizes, too.
