my rabbit eats wallpaper why?
my rabbit eats wall paper and the door mat. She always has access to meadow hay so its not a lack of hay.
She also does lots of big wet poos.
If hay isnt the isue what is?

Because a rabbit is a patently stupid animal.

I had a rabbit named flea that chewed on his metal cage like it was going out of style. I was told by a vet that they do this to strengthen their teeth (although metal is not good for them) & that rabbits & rodents like to chew. It’s natural. You should keep him away from the wall paper. It’s probably not good for him. Give him something hard & crunchy like celery or carrots. That should satisfy his chewing needs.
