If upside-down stars are supposed to represent "satanism," why did the GOP change the stars on their logo…?
From right-side up to upside down? Satanism/occultism aside, isn’t it rather un-American to turn our flag’s stars upside down for no reason? This change to the GOP’s logo occurred some time during Bush I according to some documents.
Here’s the original, old GOP logo:

And here’s the new, improved GOP logo.

…Bushies?
I’m using a picture of a vintage item selling on eBay because simply posting a picture of the old logo is not proof of what used to be (images can be altered).
Uh, GOP.com and all the Republican sites proudly display this official current logo–not just Wiki.
Clementi: Yes, and you can only make the satanist’s goat head symbol with an upside down star.

None of you answered the question about turning the stars upside down as being unpatriotic, though.

I wouldn’t put anything past Bush and his alliances after they set up 9/11. Anybody that could do such a thing must be pure evil.

Very interesting observation! This is very telling, and it also does not surpirse me a bit. *sm*

Wow, I have seen some questions on here that were a stretch, but this one is stretched so thin I think I could read fine print through it, and there are people who agree with you. Proof that if it’s insulting to the President, no matter how weird or silly it is, people will jump on board and agree. I can almost see the silly grins on their faces now. Unbelievable.
The pentagram is an inverted 5 pointed star inside a circle, and that was borrowed from the pagans. An inverted star is symbolic for several things. Of course, if it comes from a rock solid reliable source like wikipedia, it’s just GOT to be true.

Upside-down stars per se do not represent satanism. In fact, neither does a "pentagram" (upside-down star with a circle around it). The real satanic symbol has a goat’s face framed within the outline of a star.

The image that you gave us is not an old symbol. The satanist 5 pointed star with the straight lines exposed rather than a filled in solid form, pentagram. Always has been.
I think it’s more interesting that symbol for the democrat party is still an a**.

I couldn’t care less about the star issue. But the important part of your question is the implication that a star (regardless of orientation) is somehow a Satanic symbol. It simply is not. Even the pentagram, which is often mistaken for a satanic symbol (which again it is not) is a "6" pointed star…not five which is on the flag. So your misinformation far outshines any attempt at a valid question.

upside-down = satanism? ; " ..why did the GOP change …?"
It does? They did?
My "Satanic Update Newsletter" hasn’t come lately . I missed that .;D
Maybe there was a mole on the design team, who thought it’d be funny to give the GOP satanic symbols.
Serious answer: I looked away, and looked back quicly, several times . The points of the stars lead the eye downward . You then see the elephant trunk , the distinguishing feature . Then below that . If the elephant was on top of a poster, bumper sticker, etc, the star points would direct the eye to the message or candidate name(s) . If it was a conscious decision, and the elephant was moved from bottom to top, that would make sense .
That said , it was probably a random accidental thing , on how the designer grabbed the star stencil(?) , that’s been copied ever since .
I’d say ask the GOP directly , but they don’t allow anyplace for unscripted comment , on any site I’ve found . ( I ‘ve tried , several times. )

Kathy… pentagram is from the Greek and means “that which is drawn with five points.” Remember high-school geometry? The change is bizzare, but to assign any satanic or illuminatist conspiracy is reckless

The Bush family are members of the Illuminati (through Skull and Crossbones), and are just Illuminati cutouts (an intel covert word) that the illuminati installed posing as Presidents performing as foot soldiers who just take orders and make no decisions. The Illuminati are Zionist Satan Worshipers who control most of the Western Hemisphere through their central banks and media ownership. They’re attempting to globalize the planet and put it under their control (although at the moment they’re having a hard time of doing that). To do this they have to get rid of the governments and citizen’s patriotism.
I think turning the star upside down is typical of the kicked-in-the-head way the Illuminati has marked up everything in our government with their stupid symbols from their belief in Satan, an ignorance that comes perhaps from inbreeding, like Nazis trying to purify the race, or it’s a perverted and cynical inside joke against Christianity that they may have invented themselves, or at least twisted to control the "masses."
So, ya, it’s unpatriotic, designed to be. Maybe they believe it will have a subliminal effect on Americans, like the other goofy BS crap they believe. It’s like these half-evolved human morons are right out of a cheap B-grade movie.
