How do you feel when you see Chinese immigrants in the US waiving communist Chinese flags on the news?
There are thousands of Chinese Americans waving communist flags in San Francisco today. They claimed to be refugees of communism to immigrate and there they are waiving red chinese flags.

I think that the US should just give everyone a gun….and fight it out.
I am tired of people from other countries acting as though we aren’t a sovereign nation.

Well if this is actually the case and if these folks don’t already have citizenship then it’s time to put them on a plane or ship back to China.

I don’t care. Its because it is a proud moment in China’s history, I respect that, to have the Olympics there

We don’t have laws here banning the waving of other countries’ flags. If you were in some other country and attended an event having to do with the US, do you think you should be allowed to wave a US flag? Of course you should!
The Chinese flag is not a ‘communist’ flag. It’s a symbol of the country of China, which happens to be communist (but they are changing).

It doesn’t effect my feelings at all. It’s San Francisco, after all. If legal Chinese-Americans and legal Chinese immigrants want to wave the flag of their homeland – more power to them. They are entitled to freedom of speech after all…and it’s not as if they are disrespecting OUR flag.

EVERYONE: GET A GRIP!!!
MOST OF THE PEOPLE WAVING THE CHINESE FLAG ARE JUST HAPPY ABOUTH THE OLYMPICS BEING HELD IN CHINA!
THAT IS A WHOLE LOT DIFFERENT THAN THE MEXICANS WAVING THEIR FLAG HERE!
REMEMBER: THIS IS A FREE COUNTRY AND THERE IS NO LAW AGAINST WAVING A FLAG!

San Franfreaksco? They are the gay, immigrant and stupid capital of this country…and by stupid I mean, who else pays 2500.00 a month for an efficiency flat?
But when I see anyone who holds citizenship in the USA flying a flag of another country in support of that country, I have to question the motives of their citizenship. That is the offensive part, not the flag…

I have no problem with it. People in the US have the right of free speech and to have peaceful gatherings. It could be their way of showing their homeland that although they still have a love for their country, they want to see positive changes.

I love it. As an American we have the freedom to express ourselves any way we choose. Isn’t that great?

THAT kind of flag waving I can understand. It’s not about CHANGING the US to some kind of swag lagging, South of the border country. Don’t imagine you saw any American flags waving around upside down there, did you?
Actually, perhaps we could put those Chinese folks down on the desktop, shove a bunch of books up against them and then put some of squirelisce "M" ragamuffins on the other side of the books.
They could hold our books up for us in a PC sorta way, and the USA could get some REAL value from some of them.
Course it won’t pay our bills THEY run up …but what are you gonna do?

Today the Olympic torch is in San Francisco. They are waiving the flag to celebrate the Olympic games being held in China, not to protest the US immigration policies.

I do not believe it… someone suggests this is a free Country to those not even citizens… I am sure the same one is a member of the ACLU! I say send them back if they want a Communist government; although ours is not far from it thanks to Liberal politics! Earl
