You know, if I was a murderer or robber, or possibly even revengeful, I would know to look outside of these people’s homes. Not smart to keep a key outside your house. Better to have somebody you trust hold onto it who can call in an emergency.

No, instead I leave my door unlocked so they don’t have to break in through a window.
I super glue the wrong key to the porch just to piss them off.
